The ideal size for excavating in tight work areas — including near bridges, on roadways and in congested urban sites — the DX140LC-7K features four power modes, an optional dozer blade for increased stability and backfilling and a standard arm configuration.

It delivers the versatility and strength required for challenging digging and lifting tasks with superior hydraulics for powerful arm and bucket forces. The standard one-touch power boost feature momentarily increases hydraulic power — ideal for the difficult digging conditions.

Boom cylinder holding valves are located on the back of the hydraulic cylinder for improved safety when digging and to reduce the risk of machine damage and downtime.

Offering leading operator comfort and smart controls, the DX140LC-7K is designed to help you keep top operators.

To reduce noise in the cab, it offers a sound-isolating seal. It also includes automotive-style heating and AC. A standard air-suspension seat is included, and an air-suspension seat with heat and cooling is optional for even more comfort.

This crawler excavator model includes a large tablet-design monitor as a standard feature. The joystick enables low-effort control when using hydraulic attachments to reduce operator fatigue.

It offers excellent right-side and rear visibility, the rearview camera is standard, and you can add an optional 360-degree around view monitor (AVM) camera system.

To keep up with demanding work environments, the DX140LC-7K crawler excavator is engineered to work smarter with advanced machine functionality.

For fine finishing work, an optional boom float setting allows the boom to move freely to follow the contours of the ground. For uphill travel, the auto downshift feature automatically downshifts the speed, increasing traction force and improving drawbar pull and controllability.

To improve productivity and increase versatility, the hydraulic quick coupler allows operators to easily change a wide range of attachments without leaving the cab.

And an electric, 2-way pedal simplifies using the hydraulic system.

Easy Maintenance and Improved Efficiency
It’s easy to perform regular maintenance on the DX140LC-7K with ground-level access to the diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tank and fuel refilling hose. It has safe access to the upper structure and engine compartment with handrails and anti-slip steps.

This excavator includes the exclusive Smart Power Control (SPC) and Mechatronics Design that optimize performance and improve efficiency.

It meets emissions requirements for North America and includes
standard auto idle and auto shutdown features to idle the engine when functions aren’t used or shut it down after idling for a specified amount of time.
