The Doosan® DX225LC-5 DX series boosts your performance with powerful engines and hydraulic systems. It delivers outstanding performance with the high-pressure common rail fuel system on the engine and Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS). Choose between four work modes, auto-idle and machine diagnostics.

Smart Power Control (SPC) improves machine efficiency while maintaining productivity through variable speed control and pump torque control. Each of the four power modes will function with SPC engaged or disengaged, however SPC only is active in the digging work mode. Auto shutdown helps owners save fuel while the machine isn't working.

Exceptional Power and Control
The EPOS links to the engine's Electronic Control Unit, electronically synchronizing the engine and hydraulic system. The system enables power and work operating modes, electronic control of fuel consumption, auto-idle, hydraulic oil flow regulation and control, and machine diagnostics. It also improves control, allowing you to precisely place material and easily level ground.

Comfort and Convenience
Doosan excavators bring more comfort to your work. The spacious cab offers excellent visibility, simple controls, high-performance air conditioning, and extra storage. The standard air suspension seat includes height and weight adjustments, headrest and armrest, and reclining options.

If equipped with the optional two-way auxiliary hydraulics, use the optional foot pedal or joystick buttons to control hydraulic attachments. Simple joystick controls make precise machine movements easy, while buttons allow of additional equipment such as hydraulic clamps. An optional floor pedal can be used to control two-way auxiliary hydraulics. In addition, the sound-suppressed cab keeps machine noise low to reduce operator fatigue.

Designed for Durability
The standard 7 in. color LCD monitor shows machine information, including operation history, flow rate control and filter/oil information. It also displays video from the rear-view camera, which is uniquely placed to give you better visibility to blind spots. A split screen mode shows critical machine information and camera views simultaneously.

Throughout the DX225LC-5, you'll find durable construction and reliable design. The boom design and construction improves uptime. The swing gear is solid and stable, while the D-type frame and x-chassis adds strength. Bushings and ultra hard wear discs are designed for longer service intervals.

Reduced, Simplified Maintenance
Features include boom pivot bushings with greasing intervals of 250 hours, bucket pins with greasing intervals of 50 hours and a large-capacity engine air precleaner that removes more than 99 percent of airborne particles and extends filter cartridge service life.

Enjoy reduced maintenance costs and extended machine life with the durable x-chassis, strengthened boom and arm assembly, and extended greasing intervals. Easily access the oil filter, air cleaner, fuel filter, radiators and other engine components. The centralized boom and arm grease points are grouped for easy maintenance. Tier 4 Technology
To comply with Tier 4 emissions standards, the DX225LC-5 incorporates a high-pressure common-rail (HPCR) fuel delivery system as well as cooled exhaust gas recirculation (CEGR) combined with a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and selective catalyst reduction (SCR).
