A high-pressure common rail equipped engine and Electronic Power Optimizing System (EPOS) deliver optimum power and fuel efficiency. The design optimizes combustion and torque for faster cycles and maximum results. Choose between four work modes, auto-idle and machine diagnostics. For further fuel savings, auto shutdown helps owners save fuel during non-working conditions.

Smart Power Control (SPC) improves machine efficiency while maintaining productivity through variable speed control and pump torque control. Each of the four power modes will function with SPC engaged or disengaged, however SPC only is active in the digging work mode.

Maintain better visibility
A standard 7-in. color LCD display provides helpful maintenance history and machine monitoring information. It also displays video from the standard rear-view or optional side view camera, which are uniquely placed to give you better visibility. A split screen mode displays the rear view camera and vital machine information at the same time. An optional side view camera can be reviewed independently or in a split screen mode.

You're more productive when you're comfortable. The DX140LC-5 has a spacious cab, excellent visibility, high-performance air conditioning and extra storage. The standard air suspension seat includes height and weight adjustments, headrest and armrest, and reclining options.
